SyncTime
With OS X 10.2.4 on some machines date and time might be reset to January 1970 after restart.

One work around is: turn 'Use a network time server' on.
But that can have disadvantages, if synchronisation happens for exampleduring a playout with Final Cut Pro, a video frame might be lost.

SyncTime can be added to the 'Login Items' and will open the 'System Preferences' , connect to the choosen 'Time Server', synchronize the time, disable the 'Use a network time server' again and quit the 'System Preferences'.

To make this script work, Apple's UI scripting beta must be installed.

After installation of Apple's UI scripting beta , open 'System Preferences,'

Click 'Universal Access',

And click the 'Enable access for assitive devices',
quit
'System Preferences'.

Now you're language script should work.

The scripts are supplied as is, no responsibility is taken.

System Requirements:
Apple PowerMac, OS X 10.2.3 or higher , Internet connection,
Apple's GUI Scripting beta
